PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - The Parke County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call just after 1 a.m. Sunday that there was a tavern altercation in Rosedale and a man had reportedly been run over by a car.
Police were told the driver fled the scene.
When deputies arrived they spoke with witnesses and the victim.
The driver was identified as 57-year-old Allan R. Hyatte. He was later located at his residence and taken into custody for leaving the scene of a serious injury accident and criminal recklessness.
He is currently being held at the Parke County Jail on a $10,000 cash only bond.
