Police: mother injured children

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A 21-year-old woman is charged with two counts of battery after police officers discovered her children suffering from injuries.

According to the police report, Alisha L. Foster was on the phone when she became enraged and called her children into a bedroom. The report goes on to say she threw one of her children onto a bed. The other, the report says, had cuts and bruises when police arrived.

Officers were originally dispatched on an assault call where Foster was considered to be a suspect. It was during that investigation that officers discovered the children’s injuries.
