Police name man fatally shot in alley

LAWRENCE, Ind. (WISH) - Lawrence Police identified a man found shot to death Tuesday night in an alley.
Officials with Lawrence Police say 45-year-old Demetrios Williams, of Indianapolis, was visiting friends in the area when he was shot several times. He was found dead in an alley behind the 5200 block of Traditions Drive.
Investigators are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. But a vehicle was seen leaving the area just after the shooting. Lawrence Police officials say it was described as a dark-colored passenger car with no hub caps.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact CrimeStoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
