Police searching for shooting suspect

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department confirms one person was shot Sunday morning.
The incident occurred just after 5 a.m. near 30th and Central. Officials say a boyfriend and girlfriend got into an altercation after a party. An unidentified man came to break up the fight, but he was shot in the process.
The victim was shot in the back of his neck and the bullet come out his jaw. He is now in stable condition and was taken to a local hospital for his injuries.
Officers are still looking for the suspect.
Homicide detectives and IMPD are on scene.
