TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Terre Haute police need the community’s help returning possible stolen Christmas presents.
Wednesday police found a stolen 2006 black Mitsubishi Endeavor packed with wrapped and unopened Christmas presents.
The vehicle was found on the north side of Terre Haute on Park Avenue.
Police also found several sets of car keys and company keys along with several walkie-talkies.
Detective Brad Rumsey, with the Terre Haute Police Department says, “Hopefully we get some folks to call in and maybe identify some of this property. There was wrapping paper in the vehicle where it appears some of these items might have been Christmas presents that might have been unwrapped. They're still in new packages and so forth."
If a homeowner was recently broken into and think they can identify their stolen items, Det. Rumsey asks that they please call him at (812) 238-1661.
