FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) - A Noblesville woman is in jail after dragging a Fishers Police officer with her van, police officials said Monday.
The officer, whose name hasn’t been released, is recovering but expected to be OK.
Fishers Police say Lara Short, of Noblesville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of criminal recklessness following the incident.
Officer Tom Weger with the Fishers Police Department says the night of July 4 Short was irate and honking her horn demanding traffic to move.
It happened around 11 p.m. following the Bridge Blast in Fishers.
Police say Short was not under the influence.
