Police: Robber held gun to CVS pharmacist

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) - Bloomington police have released pictures of a man they say held up a pharmacist at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.

A police statement says the incident happened around 2:20 a.m. at the CVS located at East 3rd Street and the State Road 45/46 bypass.

According to police, the suspect stuck a handgun into the back of a pharmacist and demanded Oxycontin. The pharmacist then placed the drugs into the suspect's backpack. Police say the suspect also got away with bottles of Methadone.

The suspect then ran out of the store and northbound toward the rear of the store. Police searched the area but could not find the man, the statement says.
