Pregnant woman dies after shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A pregnant woman has died after being shot over the weekend, according to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department report.

Whitney Balsley, 25, was shot in a home in the 1800 block of South Drexel Avenue early Sunday morning. She was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital and later died.

IMPD officials said they have no immediate suspects in the case.

Balsley was about five weeks pregnant.
