Reward offered in Shelbyville vandalism

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - A Shelbyville property owner is hoping a $1,000 reward will help catch a vandal who damaged several offices in Shelbyville on Monday, police said.

An employee at the building at 701 Hodell St. called police Monday after arriving for work and discovering the building had been broken into. Shelbyville Police Department said the damages to several offices, the building and its contents are estimated at tens of thousands of dollars.

The owner of the building, Lee Group, Shelbyville Holdings LLC, of North Vernon, is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. Anyone with information should call the Shelbyville Police Department at 317-392-5108.
