$5K reward offered for tips on escapees

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. (AP) - A private crime tip service is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the capture of the two remaining escapees from the Indiana State Prison.

Members of the public with information about the whereabouts of 46-year-old Mark Booher of New Castle or 45-year-old Lance Battreal are asked to call the private crime tip service WeTip at 1-800-78CRIME (1-800-782-7463) or visit wetip.com .

WeTip says people reporting information will remain anonymous.

Booher, Battreal and a third man broke out of the state prison at Michigan City on Sunday. The third escaped convict, Charles Smith, was caught Monday in nearby Grand Beach, Mich. Authorities believe Booher was with smith before the capture.
