Woman fatally shot in head in Richmond

RICHMOND, Ind. (WDTN) - Richmond Police are investigating a homicide that happened around 8 a.m. Thursday morning.

Police told 24-Hour News 8 news partner WDTN-TV that 23-year-old Alesha Powell was shot in the head. Powell's body was found in her house at 226 N. 20th St.

Detectives have questioned several people, but no arrests had been made as of Thursday afternoon.
