INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police need your help to track down 44-year-old Eric Freeman. He's wanted on a warrant for trespassing and for questioning in four east side robberies. Three of the robberies took place over a nine hour period Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

The first of those three was Wednesday at 9:45PM.
Surveillance pictures show a man wearing a baseball cap and a blue hoodie turned up at the Village Pantry in the 2,800 block of east New York Street.

The victim told police the man walked in with his hands in his pockets acting like he had a gun. He headed behind the counter, told the clerk to open the register, grabbed the money and as he left he said quote, "Don't be a hero."

The second robbery took place Thursday morning at 1AM at the Speedway in the 7300 block of Pendleton Pike. Police say the surveillance pictures from this robbery clearly show Freeman's face. The surveillance pictures clearly show the suspect.

The store clerk told police when the suspect entered, she recognized him. She said he robbed the store a couple of months ago and at that time he clearly had a gun. She said this time she didn't see a weapon. After he took the money from the register, the suspect told her, ""Don't even think about pushing that (panic) button like you did last time." The store clerk also told police the suspect also said, "They're making me do this."

Then, five hours later, the same man went to the Speedway in the 3000 block of East 10th Street.

This time he was once again wearing a baseball cap and a blue hoodie.

The suspect told the clerk, he had a gun. He also said again, "They're making me do this." The suspect told the clerk to open the register. he took some money, took some lottery tickets and then took off.

"Each time he's said he has had a gun but we have not seen one on the photos. The bottom line is he's putting people in fear and he is committing robberies whether they see a gun or not, we don't know. It's very possible he could have one" said IMPD Lt. Jeff Duhamell.
