KOKOMO, Ind. (AP) - A former central Indiana school bus driver has been sentenced to three years in prison after she admitted he had driven members of a high school swimming team while she was drunk.

The Kokomo Tribune reports that a Howard County gave 57-year-old Theresa Mast the maximum penalty after she pleaded guilty to charges of drunken driving and endangering minors.

Kokomo High School's girls swim coach told police that the team was on going to an event in Richmond Dec. 3 when Mast weaved from lanes on U.S. 31 before the coach got Mast to stop in Hamilton County so the team could move to another bus.

Police say Mast had a blood-alcohol level of 0.20 percent.

No one was injured.

The Kokomo school board fired Mast last month.
