JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - Seven people have been arrested at a methamphetamine lab in northeastern Jennings County on drug related charges.
Deputies arrived to a remote location in Jennings County near Westport and approached an RV that was sitting on the property.
As officers approached the RV, they were met with a strong chemical odor. Officers found six people inside of the RV in the process of making methamphetamine.
Officers say they found the seventh person asleep in a nearby parked vehicle.
All were taken into custody by officers.

During their investigation officers discovered a large amount of methamphetamine, marijuana, syringes and precursors for the production of methamphetamine.
They contacted the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Unit to assist in the dismantling and removal of the hazardous materials on the site.
Those arrested were Arnold E. Boshears, 48, of Butlerville, James A. Ashton, 51, of Butlerville, Josh L. Lucas, 27, of North Vernon, Brian E. Shipley, 40, of North Vernon, Aaron J. Mason, 32, of North Vernon, Rebecca K. Duff, 30, or North Vernon, and Melissa D. Pearl, 34, of Columbus.
