INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A sex offender was apprehended Friday following a standoff on the city’s near northeast side.
Deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office arrested Theodore Lamb, 26, after a standoff on the 1200 block of Newman Street.
Lamb was inside of the home on Newman Street for nearly five hours after he fled from a residence on the 2400 block of East Washington Street.
Warrants for Lamb’s arrest were for failure to register as a sex offender and receiving stolen property. He has previous convictions for battery, sexual battery, criminal recklessness and strangulation, according to a release.
