Shooting sparks arrest in Henry County

NEW CASTLE, Ind. (WISH) - A New Castle man was arrested after a shooting at his home Wednesday afternoon.

Donald Wood, 25, faces a preliminary charge of recklessness with a deadly weapon, a Class C felony, after a shooting at his house in the 1700 block of Plum Street. The shooting was reported just after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Michael Whittle, 23, was taken to Henry County Hospital and later flown to another hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound.
