INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A short police chase ended with one man being arrested overnight.
Around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, police officers said they tried to pull over a man they thought was driving recklessly near 30th Street and Emerson Avenue.
Officials said the man took off but stopped at 30th Street and Hawthorne Lane before fleeing on foot. He ran in front of a squad car that “nudged” him, according to officials at the scene. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but he is OK.
Police say there was a warrant out for the man on a prior probation violation.
