RUSHVILLE, Ind. (Rushville Republican) - Six people have been arrested on meth charges after officers uncovered an active meth lab nearby a daycare in Rushville.
Days before arrests were made, officers observed individuals purchasing items at a Walmart that can be associated with manufacturing methamphetamine, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner The Rushville Republican reports.
Police searched an apartment on the 500 block of North Main Street and found a meth lab in operation.
Officers outside of the apartment saw a neighbor of the apartment throwing an active, one-pot meth lab out the window, which landed near an officer.
The active labs were within 1,000 feet of a daycare or school, which brought additional felony charges to those involved.
