Speedway police investigate stabbing

SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) - Officers in Speedway are investigating a stabbing that sent a man to the hospital Sunday night.
The Speedway Police Department’s public information officer Trent Theobald says a male victim was approached by two other men in a black Nissan in the area of High School Road and Crawfordsville Road.
An altercation ensued.
The victim tells police he was stabbed.
The suspects fled the scene in the Nissan.
Police say the victim was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital. He is expected to be released Sunday night.
There is no lead on suspects.
