Suspect sought in Bloomington armed robbery

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) - Bloomington police are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect in an armed robbery.

Just before 3 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to the area of University Street and Mitchell Avenue, where a woman told them she was robbed at gunpoint as she walked. She told investigators a large white four-dour car pulled up to her and a black male pointed a gun at her, demanding her purse and cell phone. She put both on the ground and backed up.

A sketch of the suspect can be seen above. He is described as a black male, possibly in his 30s, with medium skin tone, thin facial features, large eyes with dark circles around them, and very short black hair.
