Suspect wanted in January battery case

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Detectives in Indianapolis are looking for a 21-year-old man wanted in connection with a battery on Jan. 1.
Police are asking for the public’s help in finding Fredrick Contreras.
On Jan. 1 officers were called to the 2800 block of Dawson Street to the report of a fight. When police arrived they learned four victims had been jumped by several other males in the street, according to a police report.
A victim told police his family was walking into his home when the suspects ran and attacked them causing a range of injuries.
