LAWRENCE, Ind. (WISH) - Lawrence Police are seeking a third suspect in a fatal shooting last weekend, and are requesting the public’s help to find him.
Rafael Walker is a 23-year-old black man, 5-foot-9, 170 pounds, with short dreadlocks and a large tattoo on his throat, spelling out RALF JR. He is known to frequent the 1000 block of Edgemont; the area of 21st Street and German Church; the area of 21st Street; and Mitthoeffer; 2100 N. Emerson; and 4800 E. 19th Street, Lawrence Police said, and should be considered armed and dangerous.
He is wanted in connection with the shooting of Frederick Vaulx, who was found shot in the Lawrence Glen Apartments in the 8600 block of East 46th Street on Saturday. Vaulx was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital, where he died Sunday.
Lawrence police are also seeking a second suspect, Dustin Perkins, also known as Marquis or Jerome, is a 23-year-old black male, 5-foot-8, 180 pounds, with receding hair and slight facial hair growth. He is known to frequent the 1000 block of Edgemont, the area of 21st and German Church and 21st and Mitthoeffer, Lawrence Police said, and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Lawrence Police arrested one suspect, Jerry East, on Tuesday. He faces a preliminary charge of murder.
Anyone with information regarding Walker or Perkins should call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous, and information that leads to felony arrest may be eligible for cash reward.
