Three arrested in bank robberies

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) - Lafayette police have arrested three people in connection to separate bank robberies.

Ronald Eugene Corbin, 48, Lafayette, was arrested in connection with the robbery of the Huntington Bank in Lafayette on Oct. 18. He now faces preliminary charges of robbery while armed with a deadly weapon and possession of stolen property.

Tiffany L. Corbin, 20, Lafayette, was arrested in connection with the robbery of the Regions Bank in Frankfort on Oct. 26. She now faces preliminary charges of conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of stolen property.

Christepher Dean Clemons, 20, Lafayette, was arrested in connection with both bank robberies. He now faces preliminary charges of robbery and possession of stolen property.

The arrests were made as Lafayette Police Department served search warrants at 61 Walnut Street and 1318 Sinton Street in Lafayette. The investigation was a joint effort by LPD and the Frankfort Police Department, and it is ongoing.
