Traffic stop leads to drug arrests

KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) - What began as a traffic stop ended in the arrest of two Kokomo residents Tuesday afternoon.

Kokomo Police Officer Aaron Tarrh arrested Nick J. Miller, 26, and Alexis Triplett, 18, at approximately 3:27 p.m. They were driving a black 1994 Cadillac near Preble and Morrison streets.

Howard County Sheriff Department K-9 "Cantu" searched the car and found 234 grams of marijuana and $395 in the vehicle. Miller was arrested on a preliminary charge of driving with a suspended license, and both were arrested on preliminary charges of dealing and possession of marijuana over 30 grams.
