FRANKFORT, Ind. (WISH) - Police uncovered five pounds of methamphetamine Wednesday during a traffic stop along Interstate 65.
Frankfort Police Department officials said they pulled over a car for following a semi too closely. Officers saw what they thought was something illegal in the vehicle, so they called for extra officers, including a K-9.
Investigators discovered 5.75 pounds of what they believe is meth, valued at more than $275,000.
The driver of the vehicle, 41-year-old Javier Calycca, was booked into Clinton County Jail on preliminary drug-related charges.
