Two arrested for meth in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) - Indiana State Police Meth Task Force troopers dismantled a meth lab in Bloomington Wednesday night and arrested two people.

Troopers responded to a residence in the 1600 block of Rayletown Road shortly after 9 p.m. and were met with odors associated with manufacturing methamphetamine.

The homeowner, Justin Beck, gave troopers consent to search the home.

An active meth lab, chemicals, starting fluid and camp fuel were located by troopers, according to a release.

Methamphetamine and paraphernalia used to ingest methamphetamine were also found.

Police arrested 31-year-old Justin Beck. He faces preliminary charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of precursors with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine, and maintaining a common nuisance.

Also arrested was 30-year-old Joshua Deckard who was in the residence. He faces preliminary charges of manufacturing methamphetamine and visiting a common nuisance.
