LAFAYETTE (WISH) - Two people were arrested Thursday after officers found large amounts of heroin and crack cocaine during a traffic stop.
At about 9:30 p.m., Lafayette Police officers pulled a vehicle near the intersection of Union Street and Hedgewood Drive in Lafayette. A K9 found more than eight grams of cocaine and more than two grams of heroin inside the vehiclef, which was driven by Jeffrey P. Pellegrino, 32, of Lafayette.
Pellegrino was arrested and charged with dealing and possession of heroin and dealing and possession of cocaine. A passenger, Kelly M. Tyson, 23, of West Point, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine.
