INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Two people were shot on the city's north side Sunday night.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were sent to the 2700 block of Columbia Avenue and a home in the 2500 block of Andrew J. Brown around 9:45 pm Sunday.
This was in response to 911 calls stating someone had been shot at each location.
Police determined two people were shot in the same incident where multiple shots had been fired at the Columbia Avenue address.
Two unidentified males were taken to the hospital.
One person was shot in the head and is listed as stable.
The other person was shot in the upper chest and his condition was reported as critical.
Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call IMPD Homicide at 317-3273475 or Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS (8477). Callers can also text "INDYCS" plus tip information to 274627.
