Man, 8-year-old shot on north side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police have confirmed that two people were shot on the city's north side Saturday night.
The incident happened on the 8400 block of Spyglass Drive.
Officers say two people, a 22-year-old man and an 8-year-old child, were shot around 8:45 p.m.
When police arrived to the scene and located the two victims in an apartment.
The 22-year-old was taken to the hospital in critical condition while the child was taken to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health in fair condition.
Investigators with IMPD's Aggravated Assault unit are conducting an investigation on the shooting.
