FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Fort Wayne police are investigating a shooting that sent two people to the hospital.

Just before 3 a.m. Monday morning, police were called to Fosters Sports Pub, 4226 South Clinton Street, for a reported shooting.

Officers found one person inside the bar suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. They were transported to a hospital in fair condition. A second victim was found inside a home in the 4100 block of Lafayette Street, a few hundred yards away from the bar. That victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Police said the shooting happened outside the bar.

Investigators talked with witnesses in and around the bar attempting to gather information about possible suspects and to determine what happened.

Police did not have any suspect information, but were attempting to gather information on a possible vehicle that may have left the area after the shooting.

The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department.
