INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Two teens have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting June 5 at Bavarian Village Apartments.
Johnathan Williams, 18, Indianapolis, and a 16-year-old were arrested Monday in connection with the shooting death of Clayton Battice, who was killed outside his apartment at Bavarian Village, at 30th Street and Mitthoeffer Road. He was returning home from work. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police said they believe the suspects were attempting to rob Battice at the time he was killed.
Williams was charged with assisting a criminal, a Class C felony, and the 16-year-old was charged with murder and attempted robbery. IMPD said more arrests are expected in the case. At least one other suspect is sought .
