KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) - Two warrants have been issued for people police say are connected to a shooting in Kokomo.

Police officials are hoping the public can help locate the two people wanted for arrest.

An attempted murder warrant was issued for 22-year-old Kareen Dunn, and 22-year-old Jonathon L. Capers is wanted for false informing.

Dunn and Capers are wanted in connection to a June 29 shooting in the 600 block of East Mulberry Street in Kokomo. One person was shot in his lower back and hospitalized.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Dunn or Capers is asked to contact Kokomo Police at 765-456-7017 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

Police officials said more warrants are likely to be issued in connection to the shooting.
