NEW ALBANY, Ind. (AP) - Southern Indiana police say the bodies of a woman and two children have been found in a shallow creek.
New Albany Police Department Maj. Keith Whitlow says someone walking through a park about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday spotted the bodies in Falling Run Creek. The creek is 12 to 18 inches deep.
Whitlow tells the News and Tribune and WLKY-TV that investigators are treating the deaths as homicides.
Whitlow says one of the children appears to have been be a toddler and the other was an adolescent. He hasn't released their names or a cause of death. He says more information will be released following autopsies.
