INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police have arrested a 62-year-old Indianapolis woman in connection with a 2007 fire that killed her husband.

The deadly arson happened in April 2007 at the couple’s home at 7040 Eastwick Lane, on the city's northwest side. As Lawrence Township firefighters battled the blaze, they found the body of David Kirch, 57, in the master bedroom of the home. Autopsy results showed he died as a result of the fire.

Gwendolyn Kirch was arrested Tuesday in the 8200 block of Pawtucket Court, more than three years after the fire. She is charged with arson in connection with the fire that killed her husband.

The woman is listed as a music teacher at St. Pius X Catholic School in Indianapolis' website. She's been teaching for about 30 years, according to information on the Indiana Department of Education's website.
