INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Metro Police have made an arrest in the shooting death of an Indianapolis woman Monday morning.
Curt Lowder, 33, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter.
According to police, 32-year-old Angela Dodson was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head when she was brought to the emergency room at St. Francis Hospital at around 3:40 a.m. Monday.
Dodson was later taken to Methodist Hospital where she died.
Initially, detectives were told by Lowder that the shooting occurred at a business near Southeastern and Sherman around 4 a.m.
However, it was later determined the actual shooting occurred in the 1100 block of South Drexel.
It’s believed that Lowder is the boyfriend of Dodson. However, police are not releasing a motive at this time.
