INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - "There is nothing new, move on," that statement comes from a frustrated residents on the 600 block of Woodruff Place. The unnamed homeowner appeared upset that we were covering a murder in his neighborhood, and that no one has been arrested.

There are few new details from police, and no arrests.

Police discovered a body Thursday night inside a historic house split into a duplex. A door standing open had aroused suspicions, and neighbors called 911.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said Thursday they were investigating it as a homicide. Friday police said the victim was a 59-year-old man.

While police continue to investigate, neighbors in the historic community, want answers on what happened and who is responsible.

Anyone with information should contact IMPD or Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS. You can also submit anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers online or text INDYCS and your tip to CRIMES.
