Autistic child is also math genius

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Thursday, Mrs. Kuhn's fifth grade double advanced math class graphed linear and parabola equations, and in the back of the room sat Jake.

Jake is autistic. He doesn't speak. He also has moebius syndrome , which causes cranial nerve paralysis. Jake can neither blink nor smile. But Jake's absolute value is immeasurable. He is a child who clearly is so much more than the sum of his parts.
