INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana education leaders are trying to prevent learning loss and help students prepare for jobs or college with a series of tips and events this summer.

The state's KnowHow2GO program includes summer camps and learning exercises. It will also help students with college visits over the summer and help adults clean up their resumes.

Higher Education Commissioner Teresa Lubbers says the program will offer practical advice for Hoosiers to get ahead in school or their careers over the summer.

The state is working with the Indiana Afterschool Network and with the Indiana Chamber of Commerce's INTERNnet program to help connect families with programs.
