BEECH GROVE, Ind. (WISH) - A Beech Grove woman who battled a ticket in traffic court is now having the ticket dismissed.

24-Hour News 8 spoke to the woman in October . She received a ticket for parking in a handicap spot after the placard noting her handicap status fell off her rear view mirror. The judge in the case refused to throw out the ticket, instead adding fees onto it. Then, 24-Hour News 8 spotted the judge parking in a handicap spot without a handicap designation on his license plate or a placard on his mirror.

After the story aired, the woman who received the ticket got a letter saying the judge recused himself from the case. The new judge dismissed the case.
