INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Ken Severson from the State Department of Health said Monday there are now 11 confirmed cases of meningitis in the state of Indiana.
No deaths have been reported in Indiana as a result of the outbreak. Officials say the type of meningitis involved in this outbreak is not contagious .
Across the nation, more than 100 people have been diagnosed with the disease and eight deaths have been reported.
