211 help hotline expands to all of Ind.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A hotline for people to ask for or offer help is now available statewide.

The 211 line has been extended to all 92 Indiana counties. The hotline can be dialed 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

People needing help with affordable housing, food, utilities, mental health care, physical health care and employment can all get assistance by dialing 211.

Anyone interested in volunteering or offering help in another way can also dial 211.
