The accidents occurred within minutes of each other at three separate locations between 1a.m. and 1:30 a.m.

Trooper Brian Snyder  was injured after a semi sideswiped his unmarked car while it was stopped to investigate an accident along northbound Interstate 65 just north of Franklin in Johnson County. He was taken to Johnson County Memorial Hospital to be treated for pain to his head, back and left arm.

Earlier,  Trooper William Gannon's vehicle was struck along southbound Interstate 465 near West 96th Street on the northwest side of Indianapolis. The vehicle sustained minor damage. Minutes later, another accident occurred on Interstate 74 just east of Shelbyville. Trooper Jonathon Caddell's vehicle has to be towed from the scene.

In both of those accidents there were no injuries reported.

According to an ISP release, between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday, 52 troopers were dispatched to 46 slide off's, 40 property damage crashes and 20 personal injury crashes.
