FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - Police have arrested four suspects who they believe shot at an ambulance transporting a stabbing victim from a Fort Wayne nightclub, injuring several people.
The Journal Gazette reports the shooting followed a fight inside the nightclub about 3 a.m. Sunday that resulted in a stabbing. Police say the ambulance was taking the victim to a hospital with family members following in their car when a white car opened fire on the family car and the ambulance.
All three people in the family car were shot and were hospitalized in stable condition. A medic in the ambulance was hurt by broken glass. Police say he was in fair condition.
Officers later stopped the white car and arrested its four occupants.
No names were released.
