INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller has agreed to return $11,000 in campaign contributions from indicted businessman Tim Durham.

The Indianapolis Business Journal reports the bankruptcy trustee for Akron, Ohio-based Fair Finance Co. submitted the settlement for court approval on Wednesday.

Zoeller's campaign treasurer, Andrew Buroker, says it was simpler to return the money to Fair Finance than to go to court.

Prosecutors say Durham defrauded about 5,000 Fair Finance investors out of $200 million.

The IBJ says three Indianapolis political groups also agreed this month to return about $60,000 in contributions from Durham.

Gov. Mitch Daniels and former Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi each received about $200,000 from Durham, but have not returned the money because they say it has already been spent.
