Army deployment separates twin brothers

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Twin brothers enlisted in the U.S. Army were among a group of Indiana soldiers at a send-off ceremony Tuesday before heading overseas.
But one of the brothers is staying behind.
Sixty members of the 38th Sustainment Brigade will soon be deploying, meeting up with other soldiers from the 38th who went to Kuwait last fall. They’ll help with drawdown operations in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Two brothers had an emotional moment at Tuesday’s send-off ceremony. Although they’re both in the Army, the twins won’t be deploying together.
"I was gone at training whenever volunteer for the deployment was going on. I would do anything to join with him, but, I mean I am just going to have to see him off,” Baylor Girton from the U.S. Army. “It's rough. I've never been gone this long from my brother before, and it’s just tough.”
The 38th Sustainment Brigade is headquartered in Kokomo. The soldiers will be overseas for about a year.
