JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (AP) - An auto parts manufacturer plans a $19 million project to expand its southern Indiana operations and possibly add more than 300 jobs in the next three years.

Whitesell Group announced its plans for its Jeffersonville factory during an event Friday attended by Gov. Mitch Daniels and other officials. The company bought the factory from MKM Machine Tool last December and has about 130 workers there.

The factory operates under the name Advanced Metal Technologies of Indiana and makes metal and plastic parts for the automotive and industrial markets. The company says its project will include renovating and equipping the 310,000 square-foot factory in the Ohio River city.
