Best value colleges in state announced

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Best Values in Private Colleges have been announced for 2012 – 2013 in Indiana.

Kiplinger's Personal Finance announced Wednesday the eight colleges in the state that made the list for best value. Colleges were ranked according to factors including four-year graduation rate, student debt at graduation and low class size.

The top 200 schools across the country will be featured in December’s issue. The eight best valued private and liberal arts colleges in Indiana are listed below.

  1. Wabash College, Crawfordsville, IN
  2. Goshen College, Goshen, IN
  3. DePauw University, Greencastle, IN
  4. Hanover College, Hanover, IN
  5. Butler University, Indianapolis, IN
  6. University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, IN
  7. Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, IN
  8. Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, IN
