BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) - Bloomington Police Department said they are among agencies awaiting DNA results after bones were found in Illinois, to find out if the remains are in any way related to the case of missing IU student Lauren Spierer.
Skeletal remains were found March 10 in the woods near the town of Newton, Ill.
Capt. Joe Qualters of the Bloomington Police Department, said his department is awaiting the DNA results.
