INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A powerful cold front moved through central Indiana Monday, dropping temperatures almost 30 degrees since midnight.
Rain showers overnight changed over to a burst of snow across a good portion of the area.

There has been some minor accumulation mainly on grassy areas and on cars. Roads have stayed wet and Forecast 8 Meteorologist Ken Brewer says the snow should exit the state entirely by mid-afternoon.
Cold air will linger for the rest of Monday and Tuesday before temperatures return to near-normal values by mid-week.
