SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - A Chicago woman who was the alleged mastermind of a plot to kill an Indiana man has been convicted of murder and conspiracy charges in his slaying.

Twenty-one-year-old Brittney Watson was convicted Thursday by a St. Joseph County jury in Cornelius "Corey" Miller's November 2010 shooting death.

The South Bend Tribune reports court documents say Watson led the plot involving four other people to kill the 20-year-old South Bend man because she was angry at him following an argument.

Watson is the last of the five convicted in Miller's killing. She'll be sentenced Feb. 25.

Watson allegedly told two brothers involved in the killing to have Miller "taken care of." The five defendants nearly shot a friend of Miller's until Watson yelled that he wasn't the target.
